No. None of the games are designed with horror elements or anything intended to frighten a player. You are never locked in a room or confined in a space against your will.

That's fine! We only charge for whoever is actually present and playing the room. If your headcount changes between the time of booking and the day of, that is no problem. We do appreciate if you notify us of the change in advance if possible.

Every group is different and challenge level can vary. As of 2026:

THE ARMORY is the best entry point for brand new players and generally the least difficult. NEON LIGHT DINER falls somewhere in the middle and may be best for players with some experience

CITY RESERVE & CYBER STATION tend to offer the most challenge.

Ages 14+ is recommended overall. Groups of players aged 10-13 must have at least 1 paid adult or 18+ player. It is generally not recommended to play as a child-dominated group, especially if the players are brand new to escape rooms.

Children under 10 can accompany a group but it is not recommended and most appropriate when the majority of the group is comprised of older family members.

We will always recommend 4-6 players as the ideal group size.

8 players is when things begin to feel crowded and generally where we max out at. If you have more than 8 players, it would be best to consider splitting into two or more teams. We can run multiple rooms simultaneously!

2 is the minimum and generally not recommended unless you have experience playing escape rooms.

Absolutely. We have a spacious party room (photos coming soon!) that can be reserved for your group. You are welcome to bring in any manner of food or drink that you prefer. Please contact us for pricing and availability.

Our current rooms are priced at $35 per player regardless of date, time, or group size. You are welcome to contact us for a large outing of 20+ participants that we may be able to negotiate a flat rate for.

No. All of our bookings are private. Once you make a reservation, the whole time slot is blocked out for your group.

No. A deposit in the amount of a single player's admission is required but the remaining balance can be paid on arrival via card or cash. Payments can also be split individually upon arrival. When booking, there is always the option to pay in full as well.

Our address is at 27764 Volo Village Road Unit C, Lakemoor IL, 60073. We are located in a multi-tenant building, just a quick turn off of Route 120 behind the gold batmobile advertising the Volo Auto Museum (which is a block from us).
